OPIC President and CEO Elizabeth Littlefield (far left) tours the Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College in Karachi during her July visit to Pakistan. An OPIC loan is supporting the renovation and expansion of the facility that will include the introduction of advanced equipment, a center for medical innovation and a program to subsidize healthcare for poorer patients throughout Pakistan. Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) recently named Aga Khan the number one medical university in the country.
