Elizabeth Littlefield meeting with Rwandan President Paul KagameOPIC President and CEO Elizabeth Littlefield met Feb. 27 with Rwandan President Paul Kagame while visiting the country to learn more about opportunities to support private sector investment. OPIC supports multiple agriculture projects in the country and is seeking additional ways to help address the country’s need for additional electricity, infrastructure and access to finance.

Rwanda, which is about the size of the state of Maryland, is one of Africa’s smaller countries but has been recognized for its comparatively friendly business climate, and is attracting  significant investor interest.
