Lizard busA shortage of affordable public transportation in Liberia’s capital city has forced many residents to rely on taxis and overcrowded jitneys. A $1 million OPIC loan to NuStrata Logistics LLC of Mount Laurel, New Jersey is supporting the expansion of the start-up Lizard Bus line, named for the red-headed Agama lizard that is indigenous to West Africa and a symbol of good luck. In addition to providing needed public transportation, the project is expected to create 66 local jobs. Read more…
