OPIC meets with American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt

This week a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt met with OPIC Acting President and CEO Dev Jagadesan and other OPIC officials to discuss how OPIC can support investment in Egypt.

OPIC has a strong portfolio of projects in Egypt involving a range of American businesses in the energy, oil and gas, water supply, and financial services sectors. Houston-based Apache Corp., the largest U.S. investor in Egypt, has supported its natural gas investment with OPIC political risk insurance since 2004.
