OPIC CEO says commitment to Asia is "very strong"

This week in Hyderabad, India, OPIC President and CEO Ray Washburne joined world leaders at the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. While there, Washburne had the opportunity to sit down with CNBC and discuss investment in India and OPIC’s strong commitment to the region.

“OPIC has been open and doing business in this country since 1975. We have billions of dollars in projects we have done over the years,” Washburne stated. “Currently, we have close to $1.5 billion in active projects on the ground in India. Our current pipeline is over a billion dollars to future projects that we are reviewing. Our commitment to this region is very strong.”
