I have been with OPIC nearly 23 years. I founded OPIC's Global Energy Group ten years ago, enabling OPIC's work in renewable energy to take root. I began my work in Development Finance in Poland, underwriting the first privatizations and acquisition transactions in the country post-Communism. Before that, I worked at both Citicorp and Arthur Andersen as a CPA.

What do you like best about working at OPIC?

I enjoy working at OPIC because it is constantly refreshing. It's a fun challenge to analyze a new business plan and use creativity to develop a workable structure for both OPIC and the client.

Is there a woman who has inspired you?

I've always looked up to Mildred Callear. I remember her from her first stint at OPIC, when she served as Acting President. I recall how she communicated strategy to the organization, weighed issues, was decisive, and treated everone with respect. She set a great example of effective leadership.

Will you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I'm a Scrabble Champion and a horrible, but enthusiastic golfer.
